Talk & Workshops
Michael Bartlett: Novelist and Playwright.
I am an experienced public speaker and I regularly give talks to a variety of organisations and groups such as:
- Libraries
- Bookshops
- Book Groups
- Women’s Institutes
- U3A, Rotary etc.
If you would like me to come and talk to your group, then please get in touch. I usually talk about my writing journey: “From Plays to Novels, 50 Years of Professional Writing” but I can also include a lot of BBC and local radio anecdotes. My talks can be tailored to your requirements and time available.
I do not charge for talks within 50 miles of my home on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. I am willing to travel further afield but I may ask for travel expenses. There is still no fee for the talk.
I also run occasional writing workshops which can be tailored to the needs of a specific group and may include such topics as:
- Writing Dialogue
- Beginnings and Endings
- Importance of Titles
- Plays (as opposed to prose)
There is a small fee for Writing Workshops, depending on the expected numbers and the duration.
