Novelist and Playwright
I have been a professional writer for over 50 years. These days I write novels and short stories but my professional life began when I sold my first play to BBC Radio 4 back in 1973. Over the years I wrote many plays for radio, television and the theatre as well as many drama-based scripts for training programmes.
